Vale's Retreat is a major island territory northwest of Valysir under the control of the Valysirian Empire in the Eastern Major Region.

Population Size. Huge: Vale’s Retreat has a registered population of 714,000.
Population Density. Tight: The whole area is on a small island connected via bridge to Valysir.
Demonym. ‘Valsyrians’
Population Demographics. Elves are the most prominent race in Vale’s Retreat, but it remains a fairly multicultural area due to the high demand for crystal ball actors and proximity to Valysir proper. There are large communities of humans as expected.
Government. As a part of the Valysirian Empire, Vale’s Retreat is directly governed by them. They are under contract with the Silver Cloak, a private militia company controlled by Magicorp.
Culture. Vale’s Retreat is the world’s leading producer of crystal ball films and shows, having produced the majority of the body of work of them. They also have a prominent theater industry, some of which is televised, some not. They are a direct competitor of Lyre’s restaurant and travel industry.
