Government. Valysir is a monarchy ruled by a king, though he is a king in name only. He is effectively a slave to the CEO of Magicorp, Jimmy Richardson. The royal system is very controversial, both politically and in actuality. Valysir’s navy is feared far and wide and is rivaled only by that of Lyre, and their other armed forces have been seen as equally-formidable at times before as well. Valysir is also home to the world headquarters of the Silver Cloak, a private militia company controlled by Magicorp who frequently supplant the country's shows of force.
Culture. The kingdom has produced many, if not most of the world’s most prominent works of art, literature, and more. There are dozens of crystal ball stations in the area that broadcast globally, including Schmickelodeon, a station that specializes in animations created by illusionist wizards. The city is peppered with all sorts of museums, cathedrals, performing arts centers, and national parks.
