The Hot Pot
The Hot Pot is a re-opened and refurbished ancient coliseum known for hosting deadly fighting tournaments and gambling located west of Clank in the Southwestern Major Region.
Features
[edit | edit source]Marketplace and Trade. The main commodity of the Hot Pot are their fights, which continue nearly constantly. The world’s most prestigious fighting tournaments are held within. Occasionally, the arena will hold non-blood sport competitions, but they’re far less common. Crystal ball crews sometimes televise the fights and collect wagers. Magicorp engages in wanton fraud and corruption in most of the fights that occur here to manipulate the transfer of wealth in the worldwide theater.
Population Size. The arena has a maximum occupancy of 25,000.
Population Demographics. The arena draws all sorts of strange and unusual creatures.
Government. The arena is governed by followers of the god of war. He rarely intervenes in the matters of the coliseum, so it is largely up to the followers. Magicorp begrudgingly has to take extra-special precautions so as not to upset him.
Culture. The Hot Pot is viewed as a comically-risky place to visit, posing a risk both to your money and your life.
