Telephonuloids are otherworldly, perhaps extradimensional, humanoid creatures composed of any kind of telephone with humanlike arms and legs sprouting from each side. It is theorized they come from a seemingly-advanced civilization about which mankind knows astonishingly little.

Attributes

Ability Score Increase. Your Intelligence ability score increases by 2 and one other ability score of your choice increases by 1.

Age. Telephonuloids are functionally immortal as they do not physically age, but can nonetheless suffer fatal injuries and succumb to diseases. They generally reach maturity around the same rate as humans.

Creature Type. You are considered a humanoid.

Alignment. Telephonuloids and their worldviews vary greatly from each other, depending somewhat on their model and age.

Size. You can choose to be either Small, Medium, or Large, depending on what model you choose.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet if you are Medium-sized and 25 feet if you are Small-sized.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Interdimensional Messenger. You know the Message cantrip, which can be cast as a free action and with triple its’ normal range. It doesn’t count towards how many cantrips you know.  

Telephonuloid (Antiquated)

As an antiquated Telephonuloid, your older model is still holding up despite all of the advances in your species’ evolutionary biology.

Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution and Wisdom ability scores each increase by 1.

Rugged Design. When you are subjected to an effect that allows you to make a Dexterity saving throw to take only half damage, you instead take no damage if you succeed on the saving throw, and only half damage if you fail.  

Telephonuloid (Modern)

Built-in-Camera. You have a photographic memory.

Search. Once per long rest each, you can cast the Identify and Locate Object spells.
