''8th-level evocation'' Casting Time: 1 action Range: 60 feet Components: V, S Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute You can use an action to conjure a floating trio of small, opaque red orbs that appear in the palm of your hand and float up above your head, rotating quickly. The orbs remain until you fire them all, choose to end the effect, or break your concentration. After summoning the orbs, you can use a bonus action to make a ranged spell attack . On a hit, a target takes 4d12 + your spellcasting modifier Force damage, and the target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, it becomes afflicted with crippling pain. While the target is affected by crippling pain, any speed it has can be no higher than 10 feet. The target also has disadvantage on attack rolls, ability checks, and saving throws, other than Constitution saving throws. Finally, if the target tries to cast a spell, it must first succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or the casting fails and the spell is wasted. An affected creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.
